Welcome to the Apero Advisors x MeritFirst GTME Challenge!
In this assessment, you'll work as the first GTM Engineer at Meridian, a fictional compliance-automation company. This assessment consists of five questions, each targeting a specific area of the GTME role:
- Accounts: Building a scoring model from real win/loss data and running it against a raw account list.
- Channels: Investigating a business you don't know, then proposing a channel portfolio and designing cold email infrastructure from zero.
- Messaging: Diagnosing why real cold email templates fail using their send stats, rewriting a sequence, and designing a campaign.
- Systems, Ops: Turning a broken CRM export into a schema, pipeline, routing rules, and a dashboard leadership can actually trust.
- Engineering: Shipping a working multi-step flow: event in, enrich, score, route, alert - resilient to duplicates and failures.
A few things to know:
An AI Assistant will be available throughout the assessment - use it as you would on the job. There are no trick questions. We're interested in how you think, prioritize, and communicate. Be direct, back your view with the data, and treat it like a real work sample. While we recommend setting aside 2-3 hours to complete this assessment, you may spend as much time as you'd like in completing it.
